Effective managers contribute significantly to the productivity of their team and the performance of any organisation. This Apprenticeship provides aspiring Managers with solid foundation on which to develop their Management skills. Working with costs and budgets you will be able to demonstrate leadership, allocate and monitor the progress of work whilst ensuring that health and safety standards are always adhered to.

This Apprenticeships is ideal for those with the desire to work in a Management role currently working within a Management role, or alternately for employees wishing to progress into a career in Management from a Team Leadership role.

What are the entry requirements?
There are no specific academic entry requirements, learners should be in full time employment (16hrs+) and have been in a suitable role for 6 months or more.

How long does the course take?
There are no time restrictions so you can study at your own pace, however the course typically takes learners from 9- 12 months to complete, but this will depend upon the learners experience and their desire to progress.

How will the qualification be assessed?
Each unit structure is made up from elements which are applicable to a Management role and includes key skills such as application of number and communication. All assessments are work based and planned in advance to occur every 3-6 weeks. The learning programme and each assessment will be loaded to the ENVQ system, which is designed to create a portfolio of work based evidence throughout the qualification. A review visit is carried out every 10 – 12 weeks with the Line Manager present.

Technical Certificate
On completion of the qualification the learner will receive a Technical certificate in Management.

Progression
