What is the Kaplan Accountancy Scholarship?
Now entering into its third year Kaplan are proud to offer all the
bright young Accountants of tomorrow the opportunity to gain
accountancy qualifications through our 2010 Scholarship Programme.
The winners of the accountancy Scholarship receive full AAT tuition
followed by your choice of ACCA, CIMA ICAEW or CIPFA completely
free of charge, regardless of whether you obtain employment or
receive any government funding.* The value of this prestigious
training award is in excess of £15,000 and creates increased
employment opportunities for the winners.
This scheme is open to anyone in years 11 and 13 subject to certain
criteria.
How to apply?
To apply for the programme you must submit an
application form and email this to
steponup@kaplan.co.uk by the 28th February 2010, complete with a
testimonial from your teacher. Your school or college may enter up
to a maximum of 5 students for the Programme.
How is the programme assessed?
Out of the applications received, we then select suitable
candidates to go forward to an interview stage; the winners of each
centre will be notified with the Apprenticeship starting in
September.
What to do if you’re unsuccessful?
Nine runners up of the Scholarship also receive automatic entry to
our Summer School Programme. Alternatively contact your local
centre to find out how we can help you secure employment using our
CV Service, to help you find a job and step into an
Apprenticeship.
