How can we help your School/College?
At Kaplan we understand how important your student’s next step is
this is why we have created 4 easy steps to help your school and
your students:
1. Accountancy Scholarship
2. CV Service
3. Summer Schools
4. Business Challenge
Accountancy Scholarship
Each year, all Kaplan Financial centres offer a scholarship. This
allows the winner to have their AAT training free of charge,
followed by their choice of ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA. The total value of
this training is over £15,000 and will significantly enhance the CV
of the winner. This scheme is open to anyone in years 11, 12 and 13
subject to certain criteria.
Kaplan Summer Schools
Each Kaplan centre runs a FREE 4 day programme during the summer
holidays giving the attendees the opportunity to learn about a
career in business. Topics covered include preparing a good CV,
interview skills and a practical exercise in setting up a business
and making key business decisions. This scheme is open to anyone in
years 11, 12 and 13.
CV Service
We work very closely with our employers to understand their
businesses and their recruitment patterns. This has allowed us to
set up our CV Service in each centre to help young people looking
to start a career in Business or Finance. This is available to
school leavers (year 11, 12 or 13).
Simply email your students CV to steponup@kaplan.co.uk and let us
help your students to find suitable employment to start an
Apprenticeship.
Kaplan Business Challenge
Our expert teams have developed a highly successful business board
game, known as the Business Challenge which is designed to give
students an insight into the sorts of decisions made by managers in
business.
What’s involved?
This highly competitive challenge takes place over 1 day requires
teams of four people to compete and is open to students in years 12
and 13. Many of our centres are running this competition throughout
the year.
