Audit Responsibilities

• Fieldwork of Audits.
• Perform audit testing and document findings in accordance with audit programmes.
• Prepare audit working papers and ensure proper documentation of audit evidence.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary audit information and clarify queries.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards and firm policies during audit procedures.
• Complete director, manager and assistant manager review points in a timely manner.

Accounts Responsibilities.

• Financial Reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare accounts file with supporting schedules and ensure agreed to financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure accounts are completed within deadlines and budgets.
• Complete director, manager and assistant manager review points in a timely manner.
• Tax Compliance.
• Preparation of corporation tax returns.

Team and Client Support

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
• Communicate effectively with managers and assistant managers.
• Maintain organised records and documentation for audit and accounting tasks.
• Provide support to senior staff as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients and respond to routine inquiries.
• Assist with new starters by acting as a buddy where necessary. This would involve but is not limited to providing training on company systems, procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist with administrative duties where necessary including but not limited to reception cover, filing, assisting with storage unit.
